Allana was a player for Australia at the Rugby Sevens in 2013, and then a string of knee injuries left Allana to stay off the field for several years before making her return to rugby league. Allana played her first women's soccer match in 2015 and starred for New South Wales against Queensland. Allana has added radio to her repertoire, and she makes frequent appearances in 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Allana holds a professional teaching qualification outside of sports. Allana Ferguson, a Jillaroos player and a qualified teacher out of the sport arena and has represented Australia three times in touch football, in rugby league as well the rugby sevens. Allana Ferguson, Jillaroos' top player in rugby must end her career in the league due to breaking her ACL four times. Ferguson tore the ACL four times before she was 15, 17, and 20. The fourth time she suffered the injury, her playing life was done. Ferguson, JILLAROOS playmaker and the fourth year player to be injured in the ACL, needed to retire in the early hours. The injury was sustained in training back in November, Ferguson, who has been one of the stars of women's rugby league for many seasons, confirmed the news this week in The Courier Mail.
