Summer Bishil has been an American actress since her debut in 2015. She is known as Margo Hanon in the Syfy fantasy fiction the series The Magicians. The actress was previously recognized as the character of the 13-year-old American Lebanese girl Jasira Maroun, who is undergoing tumultuous personal experiences in the backdrop the U.S. invasion of Iraq during the Gulf War in the Alan Ball film Towelhead. Later, in 2007 Variety named her among its top 10 actors to watch. The actress also had a dramatic role in 2009's crime drama Crossing Over. For this the role, she was nominated in the Independent Spirit Award under the category of the Best Female Leading. In addition, she acted in co-lead roles and films such as Mooz-lum The Last Airbender Pop Star, Under the Silver Lake and a number of television guest parts.
